ABOUT JUPITER

Jupiter Botanical was created to honor the energy of our solar system’s largest planet entering its home sign of Sagittarius in 2019. Jupiter brings abundance, luck, and Truth to all. We carry that cosmic energy into our work, grounding everything we do in Truth, Beauty, and Intimacy.

Our floral work is primarily conceptual and created in the realms of fashion and fine art. Our design style is inspired by ancient Japanese Ikebana techniques which is truly a Zen meditation. We believe what we do is a reminder of the deeper beauty found in nature. Designing and experiencing the work reconnects us to nature and our own Truth in the process.

We are committed to improving the health of the Earth by exercising sustainable practices, including floral-foam free design techniques and zero-waste efforts.

Our intimates fashion line helps repurpose much of the waste, allowing plant matter used for events and installations to live a second life as the dye for our textiles.

Our intention is to create more mindful intimate connections here on Earth. We assist others seeking out their Truth, by using our clairvoyant abilities and meditation techniques to help bring people clarity so they can reach their highest healthiest vibration.

All products and services are interconnected at their core. Ultimately creating deeper intimacy, pathways to liberation and radical transparency in how we relate to ourselves, each other, the Earth, and the Cosmos.

About the Artist

Penny Gac is a Chicago native, born second generation of Native Mexican and Ukrainian decent. She considers herself a citizen of the world, and often works internationally. In recent years, she can typically be found in a coffee shop, flower or dance studio somewhere in Chicago or Tulum.

After studying Fine Art with a focus in Photography for two years at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana, she received her degree in Entrepreneurial Business & Fashion Design from Columbia College Chicago. After working ten years in the fashion industry she stepped away in 2015 in search of inspiration, eager to learn what only traveling and worldly experience can teach.

She traversed across eleven countries in nine months. During her travels she studied yoga and meditation and became a certified instructor at Sampoorna Yoga India. She also studied extensively at InVision School for Psychics, and has completed six of their intensive Clairvoyant Training Programs. She fell in love with farming while living and working on a citrus farm in the south of Turkey. But it was while driving through the Rose Country of Bulgaria that she discovered her passion for both flowers and farming after experiencing the sensory magic of the Bulgarian rose fields. She worked on farms in Spain, Portugal and Turkey—loving every minute of it. When it was time to return back to the States, she knew she had to continue that work.

Upon her return she found Field & Florist, a small farmer and floral company based in Chicago with a flower farm in Michigan. She moved to their new property in Three Oaks, MI in the Spring of 2016, and helped three women plant 1.5 acres. Working alongside those female farmers, she built a stronger understanding of flower farming and learned a lot about floral design. She branched out into freelance work with that knowledge, designing arrangements and installations for weddings, events, restaurants, boutiques, and film sets—all while continuing to farm.

That wasn’t it for fashion though. After giving herself some space from the industry, in 2017 she was drawn to connecting with it again—this time with new creative energy, and a more sustainable and artisan-driven perspective. So she moved to NYC to study under Natural Dye master Cara Marie Piazza, eager to see how her love for botanicals could crossover into her background in fashion.

Jupiter Botanical is the culmination of all this work, manifested into a single vision and perspective—one uniquely her own.
